Case Management Services

Together & Free’s case managers help families navigate the complex legal and social systems as they pursue their asylum claims in the United States, and to ensure that they have access to the resources and support they need to provide stability to their families.

Case managers help coordinate access to housing, food, medical care, legal representation, education, and employment. They also serve as a liaison between families and other service providers, such as lawyers, healthcare providers, and social workers.

Today, Together & Free supports over 1,200 families affected by federal immigration policies, namely the Zero Tolerance Policy, Title 42 restrictions, the Remain in Mexico policy and now the Asylum Ban.  Since 2022, Together & Free has provided the following support:

  • Over 350 families have received rental assistance.

  • Nearly 450 families have accessed emergency food assistance.

  • Nearly 250 families have received school enrollment support.

  • Over 150 families have received clothing.

  • Over 100 families have accessed transportation for reunification or to attend legal appointments.

  • Over 300 families have received assistance in filing for work permits.

  • Over 100 families have received legal assistance in asylum proceedings or for return to the United States.
